We accept credit and debit cards online, with the option to pay part or all in cash at pickup. MB Way is available for customers in Cabo Verde when the rental company supports it.

No. You can book and pay online with a debit card or MB Way. Some companies may require a credit card only for the security deposit at pickup — this is always shown on the car page.

You have full flexibility: pay only a deposit (around 15%) online and the rest at pickup, or settle the full amount upfront. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.

The deposit is held on your card at pickup and released at the end of the rental if there's no damage. The amount depends on the company and car category. Use the "No deposit" filter to see options without a security hold.

Yes. Every booking is tied to a specific model, with clear photo and identification. In rare cases of breakdown or unexpected issues, the company will offer an equivalent or higher category car.

Yes. All cars on CVRental include unlimited mileage across every island, with no extra charge for distance driven.

The default is full/full: you receive the car with a full tank and return it full. Some options use same/same (return at the same level you got it). The policy is always shown on the booking.

Yes. Adding an extra driver is generally free on CVRental — just present their licence at pickup. Any fees, when they apply, are clearly shown.

Third-party liability insurance, mandatory by law, is always included. You can add CDW (Damage Waiver) or SCDW (Super CDW) as optional extras during checkout.

CDW reduces your liability in case of damage down to an excess. SCDW removes (or nearly zeroes) that excess, giving near-full coverage. Exact amounts are shown at checkout.
